Today was the first day of the 2nd American Revolution

Sad that it comes to this. Maybe Americans don't deserve any better. The majority seem quite content being spoon fed the illusion given to them from AP & Reuters. No one even questions how freedom can be preached but not lived. How can we few ever hope to create a real country out of what was already suppose to exist? Who cares?

I think most people care, but most are asleep.

There was a study done in the early sixties on the effect of the media of television on brain waves, and what was found is that it puts people into a highly suggestible state of mind. Basically, people are in an hypnotic state more or less. The degree to which this occurs is different for individuals, but nearly everyone is easily lead about by the television, and they don't even question it! My advice is to turn it off!

I do have hope, however. The fact that so many people got out the vote shows that they are becoming aware, however dimly, that something needs to change. We know that Obama isn't going to change things much, if any, more than the democratic congress changed things the last time around. But, and this may be a big But, perhaps we can catch this wave and use it to further awaken more people to what the real deal is, and what is really happening in "our" country and in the world at large! We should make every effort to take advantage of this brief agitation in an otherwise somnambulistic society. We should use this time, and the next couple of years (it will only take a year or so for Obama to show his true colours) to further awaken people to what is needed for our country and our world.

It baffles me how people can be so closed minded about things an belive every little lie wear fed.youd think now with the internet some kind of revolution would be easier then it ever was,yet still theres a vast majority of people out there blind to it,an thats fucking sad.
